Early autumn is the time to eat crabs Researchers at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in France recently found that rhinitis can significantly increase the risk of asthma. The results of this study may help to fight asthma more effectively.

The researchers said in the medical journal The Lancet published on the 20th that they selected 6461 adults in 14 European countries for a 9-year follow-up survey. These adults are under investigation. I have never had asthma before. The researchers tested whether the subjects were suffering from rhinitis and whether they were allergic to pollen, insects or cats.

The survey found that among people aged 20 to 44, rhinitis patients have a much higher rate of asthma than normal people. Among them, patients with allergic rhinitis and non-allergic rhinitis have a 3.5-fold and 2.7-fold higher risk of asthma, respectively.

Researchers say people are diagnosed with rhinitis, at least that their lower respiratory tract is infected. Doctors can take precautions to prevent asthma in patients with rhinitis.
