The weather is getting hotter and hotter, and many people like to drink instead of drinking water. But experts warn that drinks can’t replace water, and drinking boiled water is the best choice.

Li Shuyuan, executive director of the China Nutrition Association, said that many beverages are not formulated according to the nutrients needed by the human body. Drinking more beverages is not a substitute for water. Adults consume 2,000 to 2,500 milliliters of water per day, of which 1000 to 1200 milliliters of water, 700 to 1000 milliliters of water, and about 300 milliliters of water from sugar, fat, and protein in the body.

Older people can drink some tea drinks in moderation, preferably light tea, not strong tea, but if you drink too much before going to bed, it will affect your sleep. In short, you should drink more boiled water.
